Bonner General Health received a Qualis Health Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality Award for the third consecutive year. This year it was for Our Antibiotic Stewardship Program.



We received a Qualis Health Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality Award in 2017 for our "Code Stork" emergency cesarean section protocol.



We received a Qualis Health Award of Excellence in Healthcare Quality Award in 2016 for our Telestroke program.  

Bonner General Health is the first hospital in northern Idaho and the second Critical Access Hospital in Idaho to receive all three Time Sensitive Emergency Designations.

BGH has been designated a  Level II STEMI (heart attack) Center, a Level III Stroke Center, and a Level IV Trauma Center by the Time Sensitive Emergency Council of the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

Sandpoint Community Resource Center has the unique mission of linking people with needed social services in Bonner and Boundary Counties. They coordinate with the local service community, volunteers and organizations as resource advocates for those they serve. It is their goal to be a highly visible presence in the community so that everyone in need of services will call or stop by to receive a friendly and knowledgeable response and referral.
